Here is a man, a character, who quite literally lives in a cave dug into the hills of the worlds largest deposit of gem and jewellery grade opal! In the Opal capital of the world Coober Pedy, he is like many before him, and perhaps a dying breed, the embodiment of the classic Australian dream. A waiter by night, as so was the job when he arrived to make ends meet, and now captivated by opal fire passion in the day, everyday. Every opal you see here is mined by someone I can share a beer with...and they are all cut and polished by me. Let me make it clear for certain, I am not a miner (as much as I love it), I am a cutter, and there are no hands between, what you get in a polished opal is straight from the source to you. It is my great pleasure to be able to present verifiable, quality opal of all grades.
